Grammy-nominated producer and DJ Zane Lowe is a Global Creative Director for Apple Music and talent behind its global livestream, Beats 1. Broadcasting to over 100 countries around the world, Zane’s show is the global release point for many of the biggest names in music, and is internationally renowned for playing new music first. He has an established career in music broadcasting, first at MTV UK and XFM, then heading to BBC Radio 1 where he hosted the New Music show for 13 years before moving to Los Angeles to join Apple Music in 2015. Zane curates original programming and oversees Beats 1 artist-led programming, which features shows hosted by Nicki Minaj, The Weeknd, Elton John, Virgil Abloh, Kendall Jenner, Mike D, Ezra Koenig, Charli XCX, Frank Ocean, Pharrell Williams, DJ Khaled, and more
