Dewayne Ector has a truly global and in-depth understanding of how collection societies and publishers operate around the world.

Over the past 7 years Dewayne has worked on a number of interesting collection society and music publisher related challenges as International Manager for North America, Africa and the Caribbean at PRS for Music, and subsequently as Head of International at AMRA (the American Music Rights Association), which part of the Kobalt Group of companies.

In both these roles Dewayne has proudly contributed to the growth of these world class organisations, while also collaborating with and supporting various other CMOs around the globe in their business development activities.

In March of 2019 Dewayne took on a new challenge and joined Songtrust, which is part of the Downtown Music Group of Companies, as their Head of Society Relations. Songtrust is dedicated to providing quality music publishing services to as many songwriters around the world as possible, and Dewayne is 100% dedicated to this philosophy.
