Co-founder and joint-CEO of TaP Music group, Ben Mawson is a former music lawyer turned manager. Together with business partner and co-manager, Ed Millett, he set up TaP Mgmt in 2010. In the decade since, TaP Mgmt evolved into TaP Music, encompassing not only artist management, but music publishing, social media and a record label imprint, TaP Records. After meeting Lana Del Rey in 2009, Mawson became her legal representative, before taking the reins as her manager and helping to break her as an international superstar. Ben has also managed Dua Lipa for the past 7 years, being the driving force behind her career success so far, mentoring her rise from a 17 year old starlet to the globally recognised and award winning pop icon she is today. Alongside Ed, Ben manages Ellie Goulding, Dermot Kennedy, Angus & Julia Stone, Hailee Steinfeld and newly signed Leigh-Anne Pinnock, to name a few.
