Michelle previously founded Aspera in 2004 and led the company as CEO until 2017, including through acquisition by IBM in 2014, where she created the Emmy award-winning FASP™ transport technology. Michelle holds multiple patents and was awarded the 2020 Engineering Excellence Award by the Hollywood Professional Association, TV Technology's top 25 "People to Watch" in 2020, 2019 David Sarnoff Medal, 2016 Charles Swartz awardee, 2016 IABM Woman Entrepreneur of the Year, and others. She is an SMPTE Fellow and serves on the board of Avid Corporation.
