Kaye has been pushing the boundaries of the archetypal festival experience using Shangri-la and its predecessor, Lost Vagueness, as a vast outdoor gallery for intimate and large scale artworks and interactive immersive experiences. Kaye's work combines visual and performance art, music, light, sound and AV to create fully enveloping worlds. Previously to Shangri-La, she was the creative director of The Laundrettas (2003-2009), an all-female immersive theatre company that toured nationally with its 1950’s style Launderette/Beauty Parlour/Theatrical Party. She was also a core member of the Invisible Circus in Bristol as Art Director, Costume/Set Designer and Performer.
