Lara Baker is Director of Business Development UK at Songtrust, the World’s largest global royalty collection service and publishing administrator. Songtrust was founded to simplify music rights management and remove the complexity of the publishing landscape. Songtrust administers more than 2m songs and represents more than 300,000 songwriters, with a core mission to help songwriters and rights holders. Previously, Lara spent 14 years advising independent artists and labels at AIM, before beginning her own consultancy The BKRY, consulting for clients including BBC Introducing Live, The Great Escape Festival and the MMF. At Songtrust, Lara is responsible for securing new business and maintaining relationships with songwriter and publisher clients.
